The Kootenay Bakery Cafe Cooperative – Baker
We are looking for an Experienced Baker to join our production team at our thriving cooperative business. There is potential for becoming a KBCC Coop member/owner if the fit is right.
You: Skilled, experienced, creative, and passionate. You thrive in a busy workplace, have excellent communication skills, good ability to collaborate and work as part of a team. Physically fit, able to be on feet for 8 hours and to lift 20kg.
KBCC: is an organic, made from scratch Bakery in its 31st year as a bakery and 22nd year as a worker-owned business. We are offering a competitive wage and dynamic work environment.
Wage starts at $19.00-$22.00 depending on experience. A health plan is available at your cost after 3 months. Benefits include staff discounts and ingredient purchases. Opportunity to apply to become a coop member/owner.
