Applications open for World Chocolate Masters

Montreal – Barry Callebaut announced applications are open for the annual World Chocolate Masters competition staged through its Montreal Chocolate Academy.

It’s open to chefs worldwide who work in patisserie, confectionery, restaurants, catering and professional culinary training. It is intended to help chefs and artisans grow their chocolate skills and a stage to share them with the world.

National selections will be held in France, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Greater China, Japan and South Korea. the winning finalist of each country will be represented in the world final.

Regional selections will give access to contestants from different countries, including Canada, in one regional competition: the winning contestant will represent the region in the world final (and participate under the national flag of the country he or she represents).
